The lecture will be given by Prof. Dorothy Roberts, JD who is the Kirkland & Ellis Professor; Professor, Department of African-American Studies and Sociology; and Faculty Fellow, Institute for Policy Research, Northwestern University Law School. She has written and lectured extensively on the interplay of gender, race, and class in legal issues concerning reproduction, bioethics, and child welfare.
